All You Need to Know About the 2025 California Mid-Winter Fair: New Rides, Additional Days, and the Largest Ferris Wheel Yet
IMPERIAL, Calif. — Bigger and better than ever, the 2025 California Mid-Winter Fair and Carnival has added dates and new events that will provide fairgoers with more opportunity to take in Imperial Valley's biggest community event. Among the most thrilling new attractions this year are the Diamond Wheel, the tallest Ferris wheel Imperial County has ever seen.
The Diamond Wheel, which is being provided by Helms & Sons Amusements to the fair, will tower over the fairgroundswith a unique perspective of the entire event. This ride will surely be one of the centerpieces of the fair with its height and space-age look.
Extended Fair Schedule & Operating Hours
This year, the fair has been extended to a 13-day event over 17 days, from Feb. 28 to March 16. The new schedule tacks on an extra weekend, with the fair closed on Mondays and Tuesdays to fit in more high-attendance days.
Official Hours:
• Friday, Feb. 28 (Opening Day): 3 PM – 11 PM
• Saturdays: 5 PM – 11 PM
• Sundays: 12 PM – 10 PM
• Wednesdays & Thursdays: 5 PM – 10 PM
• Fridays: 5 PM – 11 PM
• Mondays & Tuesdays: Closed
