Salgado recalls growing up in a home where every occasion was marked with special decorations and attention to detail. “I always lived in a decorated house, and our events were always decorated. They did their best in their own way, but there were always celebrations, from birthdays to Easter and Christmas. The best parties were New Year’s, with the whole family together, balloons, and Twinkle Light confetti,” he said.
